As America’s Voice digital director Van Le of America’s Voice writes: “In the Audience of Trump’s State of the Union Will Be People Whose Lives He’s Destroyed.”

Tomorrow night, Trump will tout the ‘successes’ of his first year – deported parents, caregivers, and community members; and the recession of both DACA and TPS – as those affected by his policies sit in the audience.

Dreamers from California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Maine, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Virginia will attend the State of the Union as guests of Senators and House Members.  See this booking memo for details.

Other guests from the immigrant rights movement include:

  • TPS holders from Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, and Virginia
  • Marco Chavez, a US veteran from CA who was deported and just reunited with his family in the US after 15 years apart
  • Cindy Garcia, the American wife of Jorge Garcia (a Michigan father and Dreamer who was recently deported)
  • Amy Gottlieb, an immigrant advocate and wife of Ravi Ragbir (a New York activist recently detained by ICE)
