I can’t stop smiling!
Yesterday, Senator Bob Menendez announced that he and the rest of the Senate’s bi-partisan “Gang of 8” plan to introduce their immigration bill on Tuesday.
>Most importantly, Senator Menendez said the Gang of 8’s immigration bill will have a pathway to citizenship for the 11 million Americans currently without papers.
We are just finalizing all of the agreements and that’s the good news. We have agreements on all the major issues: a pathway to citizenship, border security, future flow of workers, agreements between the AFL-CIO and the US Chamber of Commerce, how we deal with the high-tech needs of the country, how do we promote family reunification. Those are major issues for which we have agreement. 1
We have been fighting for this moment for decades. This is really it. GAME ON!
