Coalition of Entrepreneurs Launches March for Innovation #iMarch for Immigration Reform

A coalition of technology’s brightest entrepreneurs is holding the March for Innovation today, a bipartisan virtual march calling for immigration reform that works for America’s future.

As the #iMarch’s website states:

The March for Innovation, together with thousands of supporters at every level, from grassroots supporters to tech leaders, companies and organizations, is a virtual march on Washington designed to make it impossible for Congress to ignore our call for immigration reform.

We’re doing it because our immigration system should be fostering innovation — keeping and attracting the best and brightest here in the United States. We’re doing it because we need a system of fairness that lets honest, hard-working immigrants emerge from the shadows of a broken system…

This isn’t about partisanship anymore. This is about reforming an outdated, broken, backwards system and upgrading it for the 21st century. This is about ensuring fairness and security, while constructing a system that supports our economy, leads to more innovation, and helps create industry and American jobs.

Among the partners of the March for Innovation are New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, co-founder of AOL Steve Case, the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, Arianna Huffington of the Huffington Post, former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, businessman Mark Cuban,  Newark Mayor Cory Booker, Grover Norquist, former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, Voto Latino, and Pulitzer Prize-winning undocumented journalist Jose Antonio Vargas.

The #iMarch’s next two days features a jam-packed schedule of speakers and guest commentators from across the immigration reform world.  The March for Innovation is calling on its supporters to contact their Senators to ask them to support immigration reform.
