Following the news yesterday that former Florida Governor Jeb Bush apparently had a change of heart about supporting a path to citizenship, a tide of criticism from the media, activists, and advocates is now causing Bush to walk back his new stance.  On Morning Joe today, Bush said that he would support immigration reform with a path to citizenship, and tried to explain how his book failed to explain nuances in his position.  The news this week goes to show that immigration reform WITH citizenship is the mainstream position in this debate, supported by a host of legislators–including conservatives–who are leading the push for legislation.  Anything short of citizenship is a move that we will not support.
