On Thursday June 14, Hundreds of Ohioans Rally to End Family Separation at the Border As Part of National Movement

Events Taking Place in Akron, Dayton, Cleveland, and Cincinnati

At the border, the Trump administration has separated more than 1,300 children from their parents.  This cruel, inhumane policy is sparking national outcry. On Thursday, June 14th, events are taking place across the country with a simple message: #FamiliesBelongTogether.

In Ohio, events have been organized in Akron, Dayton, Cleveland, and the Cincinnati region.  Below are more details about these local events.

Akron

WHO: Women’s March on Washington-Ohio Chapter, First Christian Cuyahoga Falls, advocates, allies and immigrants
WHAT: March to #EndFamilySeparation: Rally and vigil for justice in support of immigrant children and the ongoing separation of children from families by ICE, Border Patrol, and the Trump administration.
