Activists across the country are pushing for passage of the DREAM Act, which would legalize undocumented youth who have completed 2 years of college study or who enlist in the military. La Opinión covers the departure of a group of Los Angeles youth in a caravan destined for Washington, DC to take part in a series of actions to advocate for the bill in the nation’s capital next week. Al Día (Dallas) reports that three students from that city have started a three-day-long fast to call attention to the urgency of passing the bill.
