Today Vice President Kamala Harris met with DACA recipients and immigrant rights advocates to discuss the devastating DACA ruling from Texas last week and why citizenship must happen this year via reconciliation or other means. These champions of the movement had a simple message: immigrant communities cannot wait any longer for change.

I just finished meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris.
The urgency is here at the White House, and it’s time to bring it to Congress. The lives of thousands of undocumented folks depend on it. Congress must pass citizenship for us through the reconciliation package! pic.twitter.com/IXQLJi5Fh4

Inspired by the courage of 18 year old Diana Bautista of @CHIRLA whose DACA protections were stopped in process by the Texas Court ruling courageously speaking up for all the undocumented youth without DACA.
She needs Congress to act via reconciliation or other means. https://t.co/q8zdKTzJjw
