The following is an email from the Alliance 4 Citizenship detailing recent events and activities for immigration reform:

Last Thursday, Speaker John Boehner and the House leadership received special Thanksgiving turkeys and wine from activists, as a reminder of the contributions immigrants make for America.

Faith leaders from New York began their weekly Jericho walk last Thursday in solidarity with the millions who have been unjustly deported.

These brave DREAMers will stop at nothing: marching up to Rep. Amodei’s office in Reno, they spoke up on behalf of 11 million people.

A great surprise indeed: Vice President Joe Biden visited the Fast for Families tent to support our fasters on Day 11 of the fast.

Children and their families gathered in front of Rep. Grimm’s office in Staten Island. Their message: stop tearing our families apart and support citizenship now!

An emotional moment captured here on Friday, as Tucson fasters entered into Day 6 of their fast. Unidos todo es posible.

Amazing turnout: Nevada activists held a Peace Walk for immigration reform in Downtown Reno, NV this Saturday. Rep. Amodei joined the activists to show his support for citizenship!

Over 80 pro-immigration reformers marched in Cincinnati, OH. Their destination? Speaker Boehner’s childhood church.

Yesterday, these children welcomed Rep. Schakowsky and Sen. Durbin as they all highlight the impact of deportations on millions of families.

Today, on Day 15 of the national fast, Fast for Families announced National Solidarity Fast Days this Dec 1-3, starting on Sunday–calling on supporters and activists to participate in a 24-hour fast. The tent was packed!

Meanwhile in Los Angeles, Archbishop Jose Gomez, City Supervisor Mark Ridley Thomas, LA Chamber of Commerce Chairman Alan Rothenberg and AFL-CIO leader Maria Elena Durazo, along with other prominent labor and community leaders, launched a 24-hour solidarity fast. From East Coast to West Coast, we are united!

In Philadelphia, advocates arranged an un-Thanksgiving meal to call for an end to unjust policies that destroy 1100 families each day. Their message: stop the deportations!

In Lovington, NM, 100 immigrant workers in the oil industry bird-dogged Rep. Pearce for his opposition to citizenship outside the Congressman’s book-signing event.

DREAMers in Tulsa, OK launched an 11-day fast in solidarity with the National Fast for Families. Today, they are entering Day 2.
