Responds to Call from Community to Take the Lead on Comprehensive Immigration Reform Legislation
During an event today with the National Korean American Service & Education Consortium (NAKASEC) and the Fair Immigration Reform Movement (FIRM), U.S. Representative Luis V. Gutierrez (D-IL) was asked by advocates for immigrant communities to introduce comprehensive immigration reform legislation and begin the legislative phase of the reform debate. To a rousing response, he answered in the affirmative.
