Donald Trump is running for President, and at least one other person is really, really, really happy about it: The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart.
But after all the horribly offensive remarks Trump made about immigrants during his announcement yesterday, we’re glad Jon is happy too, because we know that means some well-deserved mocking at the Donald’s expense.
Stewart didn’t hold back one inch during last night’s episode, either. From Vox:
Stewart reviewed some of Trump’s most ridiculous quotes from the announcement. One particularly offensive example: “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best [sic]. They’re sending people that have lots of problems. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”
“‘I’m saying, Benefit of the doubt, uh? They can’t all be rapists — it’s not probable,'” Stewart mocked Trump. “This guy just no-disrespected our southern neighbors at his presidential announcement: ‘You’re a bunch of drug dealers and rapists. No disrespect.'”
He added, “This is amazing. America’s id is running for president. Trump is the part of your brain that’s like at 3 am going, ‘Let’s go take a sh*t in a mailbox. Come on, who’s going to know?'”
