Today, nine Catholic bishops with the US Conference of Catholic Bishops held a powerful mass at Nogales on the US-Mexico border to pray for immigration reform and commemorate those who have died in attempted crossings. Hundreds of people were estimated to be in attendance, a high school band played, people who have lost loved ones to deportation attended, and the bishops gave communion to those attending on both sides of the border.
