Opportunity Agenda Hosts “Immigrants in America: A Hollywood Perspective” in LA

Following the success of their arts and culture event in New York last month, the Opportunity Agenda, Paley Center for Media, Unbound Philanthropy, and a number of other organizations (including America’s Voice) hosted an event last night called, “Immigrants in America: A Hollywood Perspective.”

Since late 2009, the Opportunity Agenda has been focused on integrating arts, culture and new media to “promote the inclusion, integration, and human rights of immigrants in the United States.” By hosting events on the issue, they hope to connect the politics and policy of the immigration debate to the way the issue is framed — and can be framed — in culture and through the arts.
