The AFL-CIO has begun projecting a giant video asking President Obama to stop deportations on the exterior of its building, just blocks away from the White House. Casa de Maryland, Make the Road New York, and others conducted an act of civil disobedience today outside the White House, where some dozen advocates were arrested calling on Obama to take executive action. In Chicago, a large rally marched to ICE headquarters while in Florida, DREAMers waited as the state senate voted to pass a tuition equality bill.
