Six weeks ago, the Fast 4 Families launched their two-bus, nationwide tour winding around 75 key Congressional districts across the US and calling for immigration reform. Along the way, the bus tour visited a Paul Ryan town hall, visited with community members who fasted in solidarity, and drew attention to families facing the threat of separation by deportation. Today, the bus tour finally arrived in Washington, DC, where 100 women have just finished a 48-hour fast. A rally was then held demanding a vote for legislative immigration reform.
