As Arizona ramps up to finish off what little funds the state has left on another piece of hateful legislation aimed at revoking the citizenship of children born to undocumented immigrants, a few young voices took to the stand to tell the assembly what they really needs to focus on, and why. Last week, the effort to take away the citizenship rights of Arizona’s first generation children born of undocumented parents hit a wall. What the out-of-town conservative ringer, Dr. Eastman, could not accomplish in more than an hour and a half of testimony, Katherine Figueroa finished in four words; “We are the future.”
