This Congressional session, House Republicans killed immigration reform — and one place where that will really hurt them this year is in Colorado, where key races like Rep. Mike Coffman’s (R-CO) bid for reelection and Rep. Cory Gardner’s (R-CO) campaign for Senator will be sorely dependent on the support of Latino voters. Today, more than a hundred advocates marched on the Colorado Republican Party’s office, denouncing Reps. Coffman and Gardner for blocking immigration reform and forcing state party chairman Ryan Call to meet with the protesters. Eighty-nine percent of Coloradoans support immigration reform, and the protesters today demanded to know why Republicans have taken no action on the issue.
