The poll of 1,003 U.S. adults was conducted by Selzer & Co., a Des Moines, Iowa based polling firm, and has a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points.

·  A majority of Americans support a path to citizenship. When given various options for what to do with undocumented immigrants, 53% of Americans support a path to citizenship—three times more than the 18% who said undocumented immigrants should be granted legal status but not allowed to apply for citizenship. (Only 23% would continue to deny them any legal status.)
