An all-star slate of performers urged Latinos nationwide to flex their political muscle during this past weekend’s “RiseUp AS ONE” outdoor concert, “a celebration of immigration, cultural diversity and Latin identity.”

An estimated 15,000 people gathered for the border concert in San Diego — which was broadcast live nationally by Univision and Fusion — and featured superstar performers Alejandro Sanz, Carlos Vives, Juanes, Julieta Venegas, Lupillo Rivera, Los Tigres del Norte and many more.

“On Nov. 8, you have a very important appointment, one in which you will decide whether you want progress and dignity or whether you want regression and chaos,” Miguel Bose told the crowd. “This is your vote, and this is your voice.”

While Donald Trump was never directly mentioned by name, the call to action just weeks before the Presidential election was crystal-clear: “It’s a time to be more united than ever…of creating bridges, not walls,” said Joy Huerta. “Let it be heard to the White House, let it be heard in Mexico.”

“When Mexico sends people, they are sending the best,” hit back actor Gael Garcia Bernal.
