Today, Acting Director of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Ken Cuccinelli, known at DHS as the Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Deputy Secretary, will testify before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs.
The hearing is titled, “Threats to the Homeland,” and will feature FBI Director Christopher Wray and Christopher Miller, Director of the National Counterterrorism Center in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
What the hell is Cuccinelli doing up there?
Cuccinelli, like Acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf, is serving in his job illegally and has been a disastrous government official, particularly with regard to threat assessments. Cuccinelli is reported to have instructed DHS intelligence staff “to modify intelligence assessments to make the threat of white supremacy ‘appear less severe’ and include information on violent ‘left-wing’ groups and antifa.” In so doing, he manipulated intelligence to suit the President’s willfully inaccurate worldview.

We reiterate our call for Ken Cuccinelli to resign. He is a henchman to Trump’s politicization of the Department of Homeland Security and the weaponization of immigration to serve Trump’s interest.
