DACA went before the Supreme Court today, in a consolidated case that will determine the future of more than 700,000 Dreamers.
Dreamers and advocates showed up in force in front of the Supreme Court, despite the rainy and cold day, and supporters of all stripes joined them. Members of Congress, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and California Attorney General Xavier Becerra were all on site, while the University of California and other educational institutions tweeted their support. In recent days, companies like Microsoft — who was also a plaintiff today — have written about their support for Dreamers and DACA.
Among the attendees today was a group of Dreamers and advocates who have spent more than two weeks marching between New York and Washington, DC in order to draw attention to the DACA case. Supporters also came from states like California and Maryland to be at the Supreme Court on this historic day.
