A host of groups including iAmerica and RI4A held a #HereToStay Twitter conversation yesterday with vital information for immigrants, their families, and allies ahead of the National Day of Action this Saturday, 1/14.
Immigrant families and their allies are expected to gather in nearly 70 locations nationwide for the Day of Action, to continue building momentum to prevent deportations, support DACA, and continue to expand sanctuaries of safety in states, cities, schools, and churches.
National and local groups used the “Twitter Hour” to lift up events and educate the community about this weekend’s Day of Action, as well as address some concerns many immigrants have in the face of the upcoming Trump Administration.
TODAY! Join the #HereToStay Twitter Hour @ 1pm PT/4pm ET. @iAmericaorg will post questions in English, @RI4A will post in Spanish. #SaveDACA pic.twitter.com/WmZirxaiPu
