“The DREAM Act is what will save us all”, says Harvard student that faces possible deportation.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – “I aspire to find a cure for cancer…” “I hope to succeed someday because this will be a way for me to contribute.”
This is what Eric Balderas, 19-years old, said to America’s Voice. The biology student at Harvard University was arrested by immigration authorities on June 7 while trying to travel from San Antonio, Texas, to Boston, Massachusetts.
He went to Texas to visit his family. He was returning to Boston to continue school. He lost his Mexican passport and was carrying his Mexican consular I.D and his school I.D.
Now, he faces possible deportation.
