Is this some expert trolling from Chef José Andrés, or just a coincidence?
The world-famous chef tweeted earlier this morning that he was on his way to the battleground state of Florida to campaign with Democratic Presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton.
You know it is going to be an amazing day when you are boarding a plane to #Tampa to join @HillaryClinton early voting rally!! #ImWithHer

This is certainly big, but not totally surprising news — Clinton is expected to win historic support from Latino voters on Election Day, according to polling from Latino Decisions.
The real twist is that also today in DC, Republican nominee Donald Trump unveiled his brand new hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue — a project Chef Andrés was initially a part of, but then ended following Trump’s racist comments about Mexican immigrants.
“Donald Trump’s recent statements disparaging immigrants make it impossible for my company and I to move forward with opening a successful Spanish restaurant in Trump International’s upcoming hotel in Washington, D.C.,” the chef said in a statement at the time.
“More than half of my team is Hispanic, as are many of our guests. And, as a proud Spanish immigrant and recently naturalized American citizen myself, I believe that every human being deserves respect, regardless of immigration status.”
“Trump sued, and Andrés countersued,” the Post noted today, “and that matter still isn’t settled.”
Considering Chef Andrés was onstage in enthusiastic support of Trump’s rival, that seems pretty accurate to say.
The chef retweeted a couple more things before taking off:
And everyone in DC can continue to enjoy delicious restaurants with a clear conscience! Thanks José. https://t.co/Uf22xUFBIb

Every time Trump brags about his hotel being finished ahead of schedule, remember he’s suing @chefjoseandres for delaying its completion.
