The need for a discharge petition was underscored just a few hours later, when a procedural tactic might’ve brought HR 15 to the House floor for a full vote — yet nearly every single Republican blocked it. House Republicans today once again displayed their short-sightedness on immigration reform and the Latino vote, and it looks as if their reckoning might soon be coming.
