Con el receso de agosto en plena marcha, los activistas por la reforma migratoria alrededor del país se están reuniendo en eventos locales, mítines, juntas municipales y manifestaciones para dejar en claro a los miembros del Congreso que desean una reforma migratoria con vía a la ciudadanía. Hemos reunido las notas que han cubierto estas actividades. A continuación se muestra una recopilación de tuits y fotografías de los eventos migratorios alrededor del país, tan sólo de esta semana.
Este día, activistas de Rights 4 All People y otros grupos se manifestaron en Pueblo, Colorado, para pedir al representante Scott Tipton su apoyo en inmigración.

En Utah, diversas organizaciones pro inmigrantes y la Diócesis Católica de Salt Lake urgieron a sus representantes Jim Matheson y Rob Bishop aactuar en favor de la reforma migratoria.
En Los Ángeles el martes se lanzó una “Cuenta Regresiva para la Ciudadanía”, donde más de 100 organizaciones comunitarias, entre religiosas, del sector obrero, de derechos sexuales, estudiantiles, de compromiso cívico, empresariales y de derechos de los inmigrantes, se unieron para pedir el voto por la reforma migratoria:
