The hate group FAIR is holding their annual anti-immigrant Hold Their Feet to the Fire event at the Phoenix Park Hotel in Washington, DC this week, and members of Mijente, Undocublack, and Get Equal were there to “welcome” attendees.
Holding signs that said “Racists Enter Here” and “End White Supremacy – Sanctuary for All”, the advocates said they didn’t want to let anti-immigrant extremists gather in Washington “without facing them, exposing their scapegoating, and challenging their agenda.”
The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), is designated by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a hate group. FAIR, along with NumbersUSA and the Center for Immigration Studies and other groups, constitutes a long-existing network of racist, extremist organizations which have blamed immigrants for everything from climate change to the recession. A number of former officials from these organizations now work inside the Trump Administration. “Hold Their Feet to the Fire” is FAIR’s annual event which gins up radio listeners about “illegals” while promoting white supremacist ideas, not-so-veiled racism, and hate.
