About America’s Voice

Built to serve as a communications hub for the pro-immigrant movement, America’s Voice (AV) and America’s Voice Education Fund (AVEF) were founded in 2008. Our mission is to build the public support and the political will needed to enact policy changes that secure freedom and opportunity for immigrants in America. Our priority goal is to win immigration reform that puts 11 million undocumented Americans on a path to full citizenship.

We operate with a mantra of “volume and velocity” to influence and drive media coverage in the service of expanding the political space for policy change. Functionally, we create powerful frames and persuasive messages; we conduct daily rapid response; we work to increase the visibility of diverse spokespeople in English-language, Spanish-language, and social media; we conduct and draw on public opinion research to inform the development of messages for spokespersons; and we train and coach key local and national pro-immigrant spokespersons.
