“This is not accountability, just a reshuffling of the enablers of the agenda of President Trump and de facto President Stephen Miller.
Kristi Noem’s tenure was marked by cruelty and corruption while helming an agency responsible for some of the worst abuses by our government in modern American history. But let’s be clear: the problem isn’t just with Secretary Noem or DHS or ICE or CBP. Nothing will really change until we have real accountability for the deadly and out-of-control ICE and Border Patrol implementing the Trump/Miller vision and until we recognize and hold accountable those who are ultimately responsible for what is playing out before our eyes.
We need accountability, more oversight, and not another penny in funding for this administration’s recklessness and mass deportation crusade.”
