Washington DC – Only days from an election that will have an impact on immigrant communities across the country, United We Dream Action and America’s Voice have joined forces to boost a six-figure ad with an additional $30,000 ad buy in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
The ad – which United We Dream Action launched in Arizona and Texas earlier this month and runs on Hulu and YouTube – emphasizes the catastrophic threats Project 2025 poses for immigrant communities, and provides a very real scenario that could play out in schools, hospitals, churches and other community places if Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is unleashed.

The ad shows a college student targeted by ICE during a lecture when her classmates and professors all stand in defense of her, defying ICE and emphasizing the importance of the community rallying around its immigrant neighbors.
Bruna Sollod, Senior Political Director of United We Dream Action, said: “Black and brown immigrants are among the first to be attacked by white nationalist policies like those in Project 2025. But make no mistake: Project 2025’s fascist agenda is coming after all of us, immigrants and non-immigrants alike. While we are seeing the building blocks of Project 2025 take shape around us, this ad is a powerful and timely reminder that the efforts to strip us of our rights and make us fearful to go about our daily lives is not inevitable: together, we have the power to stop it and take bold, unapologetic stances to protect each other.”
Mario Carrillo, Campaigns Director of America’s Voice, said: “We are clear-eyed about the threats that Project 2025 presents to our communities. Our coalition is doing everything it can to ensure that Latinos understand the fundamental threat to our safety within the policy proposals of Project 2025 and Latinos are responding. The more people understand the dangers of Project 2025 the more they reject it, and this ad captures what our future could look like if mass deportations become a reality, as Project 2025 seeks to do, and how we as a community will have to respond to ensure the most vulnerable among us are safe and free.”
