Washington, DC — America’s Voice is proud to be part of the Immigrants: We Get the Job Done Coalition, a group of 14 immigrant-serving organizations that benefited from Wednesday’s 10th anniversary performance of Hamilton on Broadway.

The event, led by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the original Hamilton cast, and the Miranda Family Fund, brought together artists, advocates, and supporters to raise funds and awareness for organizations providing legal services, policy advocacy, and community support to immigrants across the country. Launched with donations from over 125,000 people, the campaign will provide an initial $3 million in funding to coalition members.

Vanessa Cárdenas, Executive Director of America’s Voice said,

“At a moment when immigrant communities are under relentless attack, this campaign is a bold, creative show of solidarity. Hamilton—a story about America’s immigrant founders—reminds us that immigrants have always been essential to our nation’s success. The show’s most powerful line, “Immigrants: We Get the Job Done,” isn’t just lyrics—it’s the truth. We’re honored to be part of a coalition that is working every day to defend our values, protect our communities, and tell a fuller American story, on stage and beyond.”
