America’s Voice Launches New Billboard Ad Campaign Across the Country Showing the Violence and Damage of Trump’s Mass Deportation Machine

New billboards in five key states highlight the armed and masked agents, roundups, and violence that have marked immigration enforcement over the past 18 months

WASHINGTON, D.C. — America’s Voice is launching a $8,800, five-state billboard campaign to hold Donald Trump and his allies accountable for the cruelty of their mass deportation agenda. Ten billboards along major highways and roads in five states will show what immigration enforcement has done to American communities. In the Rio Grande Valley, Charlotte, Atlanta, St. Cloud, and Des Moines, residents have witnessed these scenes firsthand: masked agents in their streets, neighbors pulled from their cars, and raids tearing through workplaces and neighborhoods.

Donald Trump promised to go after dangerous criminals. Instead, he and his allies built a mass deportation machine that has spent the past 18 months terrorizing families, workers, and children. Masked agents with no names and no accountability have detained people in broad daylight. Parents have been ripped away from their kids. People have been shot in the streets. U.S. citizens have been racially profiled and detained.

Americans have seen enough, and voters, especially Latino Americans, are rejecting this abuse of power. Two-thirds of Latino voters say Trump’s deportation policies have gone too far, and 69% disapprove of his handling of immigration, according to a recent NBC News poll. Even among Trump’s own voters, those outside the MAGA base are more than twice as likely as MAGA voters to say the mass deportation campaign is too aggressive, according to Politico.

Vanessa Cárdenas, Executive Director of America’s Voice, released the following statement:

“For the past year and a half, Americans have watched armed and masked agents with no names and no accountability detain people in their streets, pull parents from their cars, and send children away from the only homes they’ve ever known. Trump and his enablers in Congress built this violent and cruel ICE deportation machine and aimed it at our communities. These billboards remind Americans what this administration would rather people forget: the cruelty, the lawlessness, and the chaos of a dangerous ICE machine that they’ve unleashed on families in every corner of this country. It has gone too far, and it has to stop.”
