Netroots Nation 2012 is fast approaching, and there’s just one more day — today, Wednesday, May 2 — to apply for a scholarship. Every year, America’s Voice Education Fund sends ten activists passionate about immigration reform to Netroots, and there’s still time for you to be one of them. But make sure you apply by 11:59 PM tonight!
The conference is scheduled for June 7th to 10th in Providence, Rhode Island, and is regularly hailed as one of the biggest, best progressive conferences of the year. Activists from all over the nation come to connect with each other, share their work, and rub shoulders with the likes of Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas, immigration rights champion Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), one of Time’s most influential people Dulce Matuz, and many more.
To apply for a scholarship, all you have to do is submit a profile here. Scholarships include the cost of registration, flight, and hotel.
So if you or someone you know is working at the intersection of new media and immigration, please apply. You could be one of our lucky winners this year.
Good luck—we’re looking forward to hearing from you.
