Disney World Ceremony“Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free…” reads the inscription on the Statue of Liberty, perhaps our country’s clearest welcome to those who come to America in search of a better life.

This July 4th, America celebrated the rich, cultural influences that make up this nation of immigrants by naturalizing approximately 6,000 immigrants in 50 patriotic ceremonies around the country.

In fact, a handful of immigrants even celebrated their “newly-minted-American” status where the magic never ends — Disney World:

More than 1,000 immigrants gathered to take the Oath of Allegiance to the United States at a citizenship ceremony at Walt Disney World on Friday morning. The group then attended a premiere of Disney’s revamped Hall of Presidents attraction, which has undergone renovations and is scheduled to officially reopen Saturday.

But it gets even bigger. The Independence Day magic even extended overseas, with Biden presiding over a naturalization ceremony in Iraq:

…for 237 soldiers from 59 countries taking an oath of U.S. citizenship.
