Even though Jaime is married to a U.S. citizen, has a U.S. citizen baby, and has lived in this country for eight years, he’s facing deportation within a matter of weeks.
Jaime is a great father and wonderful husband. His wife Keiko suffers from a seizure disorder, and Jaime provides her with the support and care she needs. They just bought their own home and always had dreams of raising their son there.
But if Jaime had been deported, his family will have been devastated. Jamie is a good member of his community. He owns his own business, and he’s licensed and pays all his taxes. Last year he even volunteered for a group to help connect people with healthcare and food. So why does ICE want to deport him?
