The next few weeks are going to be huge for the immigrant rights movement. On April 18th, the Supreme Court of the United States will hear oral arguments in the politically-motivated lawsuit that’s blocking the implementation of DAPA. We expect that they’ll issue their decision about the case in June. If we win, DAPA could be implemented this summer!

In the lead up to the Supreme Court case, we’re looking for DAPA eligible families interested in hosting a DAPA Dinner during the week of April 11th. By sharing your story and a meal with candidates, elected officials, or community leaders you can show them why programs like DAPA and DACA are good for our country.

The goal of our DAPA Dinners campaign is to highlight the stories of DAPA eligible families. By inviting a politician to sit down for a discussion on the importance of DAPA, you will help demonstrate that DAPA eligible immigrants are just as American as any other United States family.

America’s Voice and/or our partners have already hosted DAPA Dinners with presidential candidates Martin O’Malley, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders as well as Senator Harry Reid, Senator Dick Durbin, Representative Bill Foster, and Representative Ruben Gallego. We would love to help you organize your own DAPA Dinner.

If you’re planning to host your own DAPA Dinner, please fill out this form and we’ll be in touch.
