Más de 500 organizaciones y 29 legisladores demócratas pidieron este mes a Obama que detenga las deportaciones de los inmigrantes que se beneficiarían del proyecto de ley migratoria aprobado en junio por el Senado.

Aunque el año fiscal 2013 fue el año con menos deportaciones del Presidente Obama, la cantidad supera al año en el cual se realizaron más deportaciones durante el gobierno de George W. Bush, en el año fiscal 2008, en el que se deportó a 359,795 personas.
