Today the White House announced that Cecilia Munoz has been named Director of the Domestic Policy Council (DPC). The following is a statement from Frank Sharry, Executive Director of America’s Voice Education Fund reacting to today’s news:

She is also a tireless champion of Latinos in the U.S. generally and long overdue immigration reform specifically. We congratulate the President on a wise selection, we salute Cecilia for her promotion and we pledge to work with both of them to make our immigration policies reflect the hard work, devotion to family and belief in a better future that characterize new immigrants and established Americans.”
