We The Immigrants

Share This:

We are not the cruel, the bastard,
and even the night forgives us for being here,
in its own brightness,
in our own obscurity,
thought of nothingness,
delusional fire,
eternity,
a leaf falling down from the blind tree,
benches without a seated soul
waiting for our own solitude,
that vastness of our own thresholds,
there are no hallelujahs,
only that word always hidden,
secret of the time gone.
We were born old
in this unknown sand
dying while we live as oceans
keeping alive your only one drop,
but considered only as occasional voices
in front of our own internal abyss,
traces of an echo.

Nosotros los inmigrantes

No somos lo cruel, lo bastardo,
e incluso la noche nos perdona por estar aquí,
en su propio brillo,
en nuestra propia oscuridad,
pensamiento de nada,
fuego delirante,
eternidad,
una hoja cayendo del árbol ciego,
bancas sin un alma sentada
esperando nuestra propia soledad,
esa inmensidad de nuestros umbrales,
no hay aleluyas,
solo esa palabra siempre escondida,
secreto del tiempo que se fue.
Nacimos viejos
en esta arena desconocida
muriendo mientras vivimos como océanos
que mantienen con vida tu única gota,
pero considerados solo como voces ocasionales
frente a nuestro propio abismo interno,
rastros de un eco.
