We Are Here on Immigration; Here's How Much Farther We Have to Go

The Senate passed the Gang of 8 immigration bill—S. 744—last week by a 68-32 vote.  But that does NOT mean that immigration reform has passed yet.  There are a few steps left to go: the House now must pass a bill (view this piece from the Washington Post Wonkblog on different ways a bill could get through the House), and then the Senate and House bills must be reconciled before President Obama can sign immigration reform into law.
