Immigration allies and elected officials across the country took to social media on a day dedicated to love in order to show their love and support for immigrants.
At a time where immigrants are constantly being attacked and dehumanized by the Trump Administration, social media was flooded on Valentine’s Day with tweets and photos honoring America’s diversity.
The messages included personal immigration stories, digital postcards, sweet memes, as well as special notes to DACA recipients reminding them to renew their application fees. Much of the content was signed with the hashtag #ToImmigrantsWithLove
Others also spread the love by encouraging donations to United We Dream’s DACA Renewal Fund, which helps DACA recipients pay for their application fees. If you would like to also share the love with a donation, click here.
